OUR STORY

History

The WTL Health Clinic, Inc. is a 501 (3) (c) non-profit organization founded in April 2016. Providing free health care to Rhode Islanders and beyond, it is an offshoot of the health ministry at the Empowerment Temple of the International Central Gospel Church in Pawtucket.

Since 2012, multiple health fairs had been organized at the local church for the surrounding community in collaboration with local clinicians, medical students, and various health care organizations. These health fairs included health education forums, Afro-Gospel Zumba classes and health screenings.

Director's Message

What gets me up and going is the passion and care by people and for people. I am talking about our selfless staff and volunteers who give off themselves, time, and excellent expertise to make someone’s day. I am talking about those whom through their hearts of service, cash, and kind help someone receive the quality health care and much more that we all deserve. This is the culture here at WTL Health Clinic.

Welcome to a place where we genuinely care about your health needs, whatever they may be. Welcome to a place where we receive in return because we give! A place where we follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ who went about “Doing Good and Healing All!”
